The line
A line is not a list.
Dravenhold is kept by the living and argued over by whoever came before them. This page will not sort the two. If you came to count the family, count the questions instead.

How old is the name?
Old enough to be argued over. Young enough that someone still decides how it is spelled. Which age were you hoping would impress you?
Who was first?
First to bear it, first to write it, or first to need it? Those are not the same person. Why did you assume they were?
Where are the children, the partners, the dead?
Not on a page that strangers scroll. Blood is a poor archivist. So is a website. What would you have done with their names if they had been handed to you?
What does the smaller bird know?
Under the word there is a second bird, in gold, quieter than the one with the torn colors. Heir, echo, or warning about scale?
