The house
A house is usually a place. This one refuses the courtesy.
Rooms exist. They are not all under one roof, and some of them are only the agreement to keep a thing unsaid. Does that disappoint you, or does it sound familiar?
Where, then?
Not published. Not implied. If a map was offered to you, ask what it was standing in front of.
What is kept?
Paper. Silence. A few objects that disagree with the labels someone else would have given them. Which disagreement did you come to settle?
Who is let in?
Fewer than ask. More than will admit they were here. Which of those numbers were you hoping to be?
Is there a door?
There is one that carries a question onward. It does not answer it. Why did you want a door that talks?
